Chris Stein wants to record, William Blakes song ‘Jerusalem’ with a Blondie style production.
Don’t think he got around to it before he passed away,
ironically, he asked me if I’d read any books about out of body experiences.
Who knows, maybe he knew he was soon to meet his maker.
Debbie Harry and Chris Stein struck me as a very beautiful couple.

| "DAY TEN"
On the shingle beach in Hastings, East Sussex.
I sit with my friend and bodyguard Mad Mary,
reading the 'Gospel of Peace', by Jesus Christ
An Essene text describing the
non violent diet of Christ the ascetic.
I muse over the future and all it may bring,
I open Pandora’s box of hope,
I envision a time in the distant future when synthetic’s
rule.
The down side humankind destroy the natural environment,
the up side burgers will be cruelty free veggie ‘rubber
buns’.

I CLAMBERED OVER MOUNDS AND MOUNDS
OF POLY STYRENE FOAM
THEN FELL INTO A SWIMMING POOL
FILLED WITH FAIRY SNOW
AND WATCHED THE WORLD TURN
DAY GLO YOU KNOW YOU KNOW
THE WORLD TURNED DAY GLO
YOU KNOW OH OH
I WRENCHED THE NYLON CURTAINS BACK
AS FAR AS THEY WOULD GO
THEN PEERED THROUGH PERSPEX
WINDOW PANES AT THE ACRYLIC ROAD
I DROVE MY POLYPROPOLENE CAR
ON WHEELS OF SPONGE
THEN PULLED INTO A WIMPY BAR
TO HAVE A RUBBER BUN
THE X-RAY’S WERE PENETRATING
THROUGH THE LATEX BREEZE
SYNTHETIC FIBRE SEE THRU LEAVES
FELL FROM THE RAYON TREES
